This study reconsiders Atomi Kakei's art education which cannot be explained through teleological interpretation of history. Consequently, it will suggest a potential direction of Japanese feminist art of own different from western one, focusing Kakei’s art education in the time that is thought of as the early developmental stage of Feminism.
